How it was made

   The task

   Create an atmospheric thriller with horror elements, shot in a Slavic Gothic aesthetic.

   The idea

   We reframed the brief as a trailer for a book-based TV series, with a strong focus on location scouting and music selection to build the right atmosphere.

3. 3

   Shooting

   Filming took place in the dead of winter, but tight production planning kept every shooting day on schedule.

4. 4

   AI and color

   With a limited budget, we swapped costly CGI for neural-network-based techniques and used a low-key grade to preserve the mood.
